CAM Supplies Prepreg for NOVUS One BOSS Lightbike

Cristex Advanced Materials Supplies Bespoke Prepreg for the NOVUS One BOSS Edition Lightbike in Collaboration with Microtex.

Cristex was approached by NOVUS to create a bespoke carbon fibre fabric for the limited full carbon urban Lightbikes, featuring the iconic BOSS “B” motif.

Novus supplied a PDF of the logo as a reference to guide the collaboration between their design team and Cristex, ensuring the branding was seamlessly embedded into the fabric.

In partnership with Microtex, a hybrid fabric was designed and woven using carbon and basalt fibres to create the worlds first branded carbon in BOSS Double B logo motif. The combination of carbon and basalt fibres creates a three-dimensional effect.

The “BOSS” fabric was impregnated with Microtex’s Cosmetic Epoxy X1-120, providing outstanding aesthetic and structural performance.

This project highlights Cristex’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of composite materials – merging technical expertise with bespoke design solutions to meet the unique demands of premium performance products.
