Commercial Grade Nomex® Honeycomb - AHN 7800
Manufactured using a unique water based, solvent free phenolic resin system, AHN 7800 offers a high performance and sustainable solution for industrial sandwich panel applications.
AHN 7800 is a commercial grade NOMEX® honeycomb core, designed to be used within composite sandwich panels for applications where corrosion and moisture resistance are essential. It combines good strength characteristics with fire resistant properties and is available in a range of cell sizes and densities to suit different requirements.
Typical applications include lightweight, non-structural bulkheads for ships, joiner panels, shelters, antennas, and automotive / motorsport body panels. AHN 7800 also offers good thermal insulation and excellent dielectric properties, making it versatile across multiple sectors.
This honeycomb core is easy to machine, form, and shape, and is particularly well suited to adhesive bonding.
